Just want to remind you all that I will soon be doing a review of CSN. The giveway I blogged about in December was such a hit and now I have the awesome opportunity to share with you my readers about CSN’s online stores. They have over 200 online stores so the choices are endless. You can find anything you need whether it be swingsets, fitness equipment, or even cute cookware. I’m excited to do this review and will share with you what I purchase from CSN really soon!
On other news…I just have to say how I am blown away by God’s love and provision for my family. I grew up in the church since I was itty bitty so I have been able to see God do awesome things in other people’s lives and in my family growing up.
As a married couple and now as a family of four we have had some really rough financial times- it all started with a really bad economy, job lay-offs and my decision to stay home with our boys.
If anything these hard times has taught me alot about our spending habits and how we can live on less.
I have kept a list on my fridge since last summer and on that list I have written things that we need. The list has the basics on there and even some big things….it’s kinda like a place I write down and believe that God will provide. You know what? God has been slowly but surely answering those needs for us.
Things as simple as new shoes for the boys or other basic supplies we just don’t have the money for at the present. God answered a really big one recently and I can’t share it just yet but I just want to say that if you’ve been asking God for something and you’ve had to wait….to just keep trusting Him and being faithful with where you’re at right now.
That’s one of the biggest things I’m learning is to be content with my current status in life…to live in the now and to see God in it. My pastor said something recently that really hit me between the eyes (in a good way)! He said instead of just asking God to answer our prayers, we should instead say God be glorified through this answer to prayer and this situation. Sometimes we just want to get out of a situation but not see the bigger picture. I am so thankful for a God who loves me and knows my need and wants to care for those needs.
God is so good!
