It’s unbelievable how one year has passed since we celebrated Father’s Day for the first time! Last year hubby and I were still wet behind the ears with all this newborn/raising kids stuff. Well we’re both still learning and thankful for the priviledge of being parents!
One year later here’s some things that I love about the wonderful Father my husband is:
The way the boys get excited when they see daddy’s truck pull up the driveway when he comes home from work.
How our boys love watching daddy play his guitar and piano for them.
How my husband eyes filled with tears the first time one of the boys sat with him at the piano and wanted to play with him.
When he falls asleep snuggling with one of the boys on our bed.
The way he makes the boys belly laugh.
The way he prays for our boys and asks God for wisdom & guidance in raising them.
The way he loves me in front of the boys-with words and actions.
How he goes above and beyond to help me with the boys after a long day at his work.
The breaks he gives me(mom) when I’m at the end of my rope.
His dilligence in changing thousands of dirty diapers over the last year and never complaining about it.
