Another change we made with the boys was taking them out of their infant seats. Yes, I said infant seats! Those poor big boys long limbs have been hanging out of their car seats for awhile now. I’m sure we were breaking some law out there. Dad sure has been getting his work out carrying them everywhere. Finally, the boys have graudated into their big boy carseats FACING FORWARD.
Rear facing v. forward facing is a huge point of debate with alot of moms. I’ve done some reading and there are safety concerns that say turning your child’s seat forward facing before 2 yrs.old is NOT the safest for them. The argument is that little one’s do not have the neck strength to withstand a high impact crash forward facing. If I could feasibly keep them rearfacing in my tiny car I would , but it’s unbelievably difficult and those boys are getting bigger by the day. My prayer is that the Lord would keep His hand of protection on us as we travel with those precious boys.
Also this week lots of teething! My boys are getting some more teeth in…looks like it’s their first year molars. We’re doing what we can to help them through it….cold teething rings, orajel, biting mom’s shoulder…wait that one’s not on the approved list of teething items, but it has happened!
Can’t believe how quick these boys are growing up! Help me to cherish these moments Lord!
