I guess it’s a well know fact that most toddlers are picky eaters. I’ve heard volumes of stories from friends and through the internet about parents and their on-going battle with getting their toddler to eat more than just cheerios and milk at mealtimes. First let me say that I know that there are also many parents who have children that are great eaters and eat a variety of different foods. To those parents I say wonderful and you are super blessed.
I wrote in a past post about my boys and their singular love for pureed baby foods. I wish I had some breakthrough news to report about their eating habits. However, my husband and I are still pulling our hair out over how to encourage our kids to eat more table foods with us.
Currently besides baby food, milk and juice they will eat:
- pieces of wheat bread
- Gerber’s Crunchies (which my pediatrician told me to stop giving them)
- Graham crackers
I am so open to any suggestions you moms/dads may have. I’m trying to stay positive and pray that the boys will come around soon.
