Trying to achieve some balance in my daily life…you know what I mean? There’s being a mom ( and the many things that entails), taking care of the home, being a wife, investing time in my relationship with God, church, graphic design, blogging and “me” time. I probably forgot something in that list but the point being is some areas can overtake other areas and leave me out of balance.
The older I get the more I realize my need for organization and need for follow through. I started at the beginning of summer with a detailed list of “chores” that I need to stay on top of. Sorry to say I haven’t been consistent with following that chore list. All I know is when my house is out of control I can only handle the chaos for so long and then I have to get it back to some semblance of order .
Thankfully my husband isn’t a neat freak and he never complains about the state of our house. It’s inevitable for the house to get out of sorts especially with two toddlers in the house, but I do want to strive for some type of order during the day.
I’m trying to get my online business going so I can launch by the first week of September. It’s very time consuming and I’m already aware that this new endeavor needs to be kept in check. It’s funny how there are alot of good things that we can be doing with our time but they are not necesarily the areas of priority. My prayer is for God to help attend to the priorities first and then go from there.
How do you keep your life in order? When do you know things are getting out of control?
